The Kempsey Tennis Club held another great camp during the school holidays with more than 25 wonderful kids enjoying the activities and improving their skills.

As usual and as requested by all the kids it came down to the last game. Team Oakleigh Junior with club junior honcho James Preston looked good for the title as three times in a row he was ‘last man in’.
However, three times in a row the net felt the full force of his forehands and then his worst nightmare Harley Gee became the last man in for his team ‘the laundryman’.
Harley rarely misses a catch and this was the case yet again as he took a stunner.
Congratulations to all for making it one of the best tennis camps in years.
Tennis coaching resumes this week as does Friday night junior social tennis from 6-8pm.
