The Kempsey Saints were knocked out of the FFA Cup in convincing fashion as they suffered a 5-0 loss to the North Coast Football side the Boambee Bombers on Saturday.

The Saints had advanced to the regional qualifiers with wins over Wauchope and Port Saints.
However, Kempsey weren’t able to overcome a red hot Boambee side.
The Saints were able to hold their own throughout the opening stages of the encounter but succumbed to two goals late in the first half.
The momentum continued for Boambee in the second half and they fired home three goals in the space of five minutes to put the game out of reach.
The Saints had a bye in the Premier League competition.
