Saints has increased its player numbers once again and is edging towards the 500 player mark.
There is much on at Saints over the next few weeks.
The coach’s evening for all returning and aspiring coach’s is on this Friday March 9 from 4.30pm.
It will be an opportunity to talk to 2018 coaching director Matt Baker about what is planned at Saints this year.
The annual 6s muster day is on at Eden St the following Wednesday March 14 at Eden St playing fields at 5pm.
This will be an opportunity for all the 6s players to have a training session and parents to talk to club representatives.
6s teams will be finalised at that session and anyone interested in coaching a team can talk to the club at this time.
Saints has the opportunity to field more teams but require further players to make extra teams in several age groups.
If any players are interested in playing in the Northern Men’s League on a Saturday afternoon, Saints may be able to field a third team.
This grade trains once a week and is a blend of competitive football with a very social spirit.
Saints is also hoping to field a second team in the 18s girls competition which plays on a Friday evening.
This grade is for any girls who are 15 to 18 years old.

The Kempsey Saints enter the 2018 season on the back of mixed results in their Premier League teams from last year.
The Saints celebrated their first grand final success in the Premier League division with the reserve grade side lifting the crown after an emphatic 6-0 victory against the Forster-Tuncurry Tigers.
The side also secured the minor premiership.
Meanwhile the Saints’ first grade team struggled for consistency and missed out on reaching the finals series.
