Having moved up to a more powerful division this year, Josh has trained exceptionally hard and received coaching that paid off during this event, with the young speed demon stamping his authority on the class, dominating the 13 other quality drivers who came from all over the state in search of a place on the podium.
After qualifying first, he won all three heats and was confident leading into the final race which was to be held under lights with conditions cooling down. But Josh was equally cool under pressure, nailing the start and driving consistently with no mistakes to take the checkered flag.
The emerging driver will continue to hone his skills behind the wheel and prepare physically to ensure he is primed to race for the Scuderia PCR Australia factory team in the State and National series, held all over the country, with round one at Monarto near Adelaide on February 24 and 25.
