The bowls day, hosted by the Kempsey Heights Bowling Club and Triple M Mid North Coast, was followed by a raffle and auction, which helped the club exceed their $10,000 target by more than $7000.
Secretary manager of the bowling club, Kerr Black, said that all participants enjoyed themselves.
“The weather broke for us and we were able to get out there and play,” he said.
“Everyone had a good time and that’s what it was about.”
The business house shield was claimed by Rogan’s Heroes, representing Macleay Treated Timbers, while Kempsey Kougars won the Give Me 5 For Kids trophy.
