A driver who has been disqualified for driving until 2029 was caught behind the wheel in Kempsey on Sunday night.

At 7.35pm on Sunday November 3, police attached to Kempsey Highway Patrol stopped a 49-year-old man in Forth St for a breath test.
The man returned a positive result and was arrested and taken to Kempsey Police Station where checks revealed he was a disqualified driver until 2029.
A subsequent breath analysis allegedly returned a reading of 0.250.
He was charged with high range PCA - second offence, and drive whilst disqualified - second offence.
This was during Operation Drink Drive ll - an operation conducted by NSW Police over the weekend targeting alcohol-impaired motorists across the state.
During the 72-hour operation, police conducted 192,535 random breath tests and charged 324 people with drink driving.
