Just a week ago Soleil competed in the top category for her age group in the National Finals of Hollywood Bound National Dance Championships, and was also a finalist for the title of “Australia Dancer of the Year” against more than 1000 acts with many talented dancers from all over Australia and New Zealand.
Amidst tough competition, Soleil won her category and became a National Elite Dance champion for Song and Dance.
Soleil, who trains at Vogue Performing Arts Academy in Kempsey, spends over 15 hours each week in the Vogue studios perfecting her craft.
In 2019, she will head to Los Angeles, USA to compete in the National finals of Starpower International Dance competition after qualifying for the finals in her category at the Brisbane regional competition.
The talented young dancer, will also be competing in the Kids Artistic Review National Finals In New York after qualifying for her event and also winning the title of Miss Teen KAR in Newcastle.
Needless to say that Soleil will be a very busy dancer this year; but says she can not wait to be able to experience what the national finals are like in America and see some amazing dancers on stage and learn as much as she can whilst there.
